The Union artillery facing off against the Confederates on their left was very effective and almost singlehandedly blunted the Rebel attack.

It was good to get a game in and I plan to get a further three in this month to bring me back on schedule.

All the best,

DCDavid Crookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497436789811496047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-2765380875563470492012-09-10T08:11:26.194+01:002012-09-10T08:11:26.194+01:00I am doubly pleased to read this. It takes up very little space and is very quick and easy to set up.

I enjoyed the scenario as it was close right up until the final turn and involved much activity on the flanks rather than all in the centre.

All the best,

DCDavid Crookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497436789811496047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-24503569705469516162012-09-10T05:54:53.415+01:002012-09-10T05:54:53.415+01:00Hi Jim,

As mentioned I will need to give terrain some thought and funnily enough it has also made me think about the figures option as well - I reckon that 10/12mm would be absolutely ideal for this scale of hexed terrain.

....And yes, I do have rather a lot of blocks I could use....;-)

All the best,

DCDavid Crookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497436789811496047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-39654479095818981402012-09-10T02:54:16.808+01:002012-09-10T02:54:16.808+01:00An interesting type of game Dave.An interesting type of game Dave.Ray Rousellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07352596392520905197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-12607657983572226322012-09-10T00:20:22.640+01:002012-09-10T00:20:22.640+01:00I really like those block elements, me an Ray were...I really like those block elements, me an Ray were saying how it would look in the gatehouse set up over a shift as we played and painted! The Angry Lurkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01227314379603418332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-41480761510654542482012-09-09T23:57:34.155+01:002012-09-09T23:57:34.155+01:00Hi David

You do have more blocks don't you :)

JimJim Duncan Wargamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14114076455087495681noreply@blogger.com
