Larger squares will help as well as enhancing the appearance of distance.

I was rather pleased with the fort considering it was very much straight off the bat so to speak! Initially I was a little dubious about how it would all work out but with some application I have been able to shoehorn the parent rules into something workable within the space. I think your system is more than capable of handling any of the naval actions of the ACW. I must admit to being pleased with how this has progressed in terms of the models, the overall look and the rules. There is a way to go yet but it is all on the right track.

I am going to make a larger board though - one using 8” squares rather than the 6” version I currently have - as it will serve two purposes. It will increase the visual perception of range and distance and will also suit the size of models I have a little better. It will be made identically to the one I have already.

I want to get the rest of the ships finished first though and the rules typed out!

All the best,

DCDavid Crookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497436789811496047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-68441525867910521532022-04-18T22:16:41.311+01:002022-04-18T22:16:41.311+01:00I love that fort!I love that fort!nundankethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12895608927860103442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472889370304077924.post-7184254042777853952022-04-18T22:16:08.095+01:002022-04-18T22:16:08.095+01:00An excellent report, and an excellent game.
