He has also discovered a further box full of painted Seven Years War Prussians - no pictures yet - which I will post when I have them.
Note that these pictures are not in any order and I would expect to be sorting the figures out once they are in my hands. I have not added any captions - just take a look and enjoy!
The Ottoman army has to be one of the most colourful for the 18thC gamers to field, but not easy to play I would imagine.
ReplyDeleteHi Steve J,
ReplyDeleteWhen Eric used the army there was always a lot of artillery and masses of low grade foot backed up by high grade Janissaries.
It was horribly effective and very good at just rolling over opposition.
It also looked really nice.
All the best,
DC
Let’s hope they continue to fight effectively wherever they go...
ReplyDeleteEric did love his artillery. My Turkish army is effective although against heavy cavalry they do struggle. Some lovely figures in the collection.
ReplyDeleteWow. Just... wow!
ReplyDeleteHi Tradgardmastare,
ReplyDeleteOf that I am certain!
All the best,
DC
Hello Independentwargamesgroup,
ReplyDeleteQuantity has a quality all of its own as far as Eric and his artillery were concerned.
The Turkish artillery park was big enough to have its own post code!
All the best,

Hi Archduke,
ReplyDeleteThat sums it up quite well!
All the best,
