This is a long running and continuing journey around a collection of ideas, projects, games, models and a variety of wargaming related themes from my own imagination and from others. As I have been described as having the attention span of a forgetful goldfish you can rest assured the resulting subject matter will be diverse and (usually) entertaining! "He lived in a frenzy of enthusiasm — but nothing
lasted for long with him".

Poll Position
Just a quick reminder that the poll around the subject for my end of year grand finale Big Battle Portable Wargame closes at midnight tonight so if you have a preference as to which war you want to see gamed then click on one of the voting buttons!
Finally got around to Voting. Before I looked at the results I decided on 2nd/3rd Anglo-Afghan war. Very pleased to see that I do have minority tastes! (But at least you now know who gave that single vote!). Cheers Clint.
Many thanks for the vote old chap! The great thing with this is that ALL the choices will feature at some point so everyone will be happy - eventually!
David, can you follow the example of our last election in Philadelphia and "vote early and often"? (As suddenly, write-in votes for the 1st Schleswig-Holstein War take an early lead.) -a politically burned-out Steve
I should have launched the poll a few days earlier and will certainly do so for the next one. I plan to fight all the wars at some point so everybody will win eventually!
I hope the domestic issue was not too serious and that all is well.
