Not Quite What I Had in Mind!....Part 2

Tired, frustrated and tetchy with it - still not an ideal frame of mind to be painting with so tonight's session with the paintbrush has been canned. Work has been contriving to grind me down and thus far it is working very well as for the second day running it has been fairly intense and draining. Still, I have a number of wargaming chores to attend to that are important in their own way so the time will not be wasted. I just don't seem to be able to get motivated to paint which is odd as I really want to get on with the ACW ships.

Perhaps a glance through Jack Coombe's book 'Thunder Along the Mississippi' will get the creative juices flowing again.

I certainly hope so!

David,

I know that feeling!

I came home tonight full of good intentions ... and have so far made zero progress because I am just too tired.

Perhaps we will both feel more active tomorrow!

All the best,

Bob

Hi Bob,

I will snap out of it soon - it is one of my periodic slumps which sadly was not properly addressed by my recent holiday!

Tomorrow is another day as you rightly say so lets see how we are feeling then!

All the best,

DC

You and me both! I was going to try an SCW game tonight but can't find the motivation. Another evening reading bed I expect.

Chin-up mate - your hobby shouldn't be a chore. Remember that worse things happen at sea you know!

Hi Paul,

Very true indeed - it is frustrating though because I really want to crack on with the ACW ships.

I suppose I resent wasting the time more than anything - still, I hope to return to form soon!

All the best,

DC

Hi Dave,

I picked at the current batch of ships - a mere 10 minutes or so - and felt much better afterwards.

Sometimes if you make the first step the rest follow easily but tonight it was that first step that was the problem!

SCW - using those Zvezda T26s?

They are lovely little models!

All the best,
