Oh well, there goes the brain cell for another week....
Ho-hum. I would like to say it could only happen to me but I suspect I am neither the first nor the last to have done this. I placed my order with Kallistra for my Hexon terrain pieces over a week ago and the package duly arrived yesterday morning. It is really nice and I am delighted to have taken the plunge with the collection and am looking forward to using the same for my gaming adventures. The order was made up of a selection of flocked hills, roads and stream sections in what I thought would be a suitable varied selection for creating any number of battlefields.
Nothing wrong with that idea or so I thought....
Picture the scene if you will. There I was parked in front of my PC constructing the order and yes, you've guessed it, going through various permutations of what the final order will look like. In a nutshell, what I had ordered was not what I thought I had ordered. I should have checked the end result more carefully but failed to do so and am now down one pack of stream sections as a result!
The new and correct order has already been placed....
D'Oh....

Ah well, it wouldn't do to be perfect all the time...
All I can say is that I resemble that remark.
You are not alone, my fellow gamer.

Hi Bob,
I have taken consolation from that small fact!
All the best,

Hi Tim,
Even some of the time would be nice and would also make a refreshing change!

Been there done that, got the misordered figures in my basement. I had the t-shirt but, LL Bean lets me return merchandise.
It's the same story every time there's a computer involved - it does what you tell it to do!
Sounds like you both like and can use what arrived (which is better than the alternative). Enjoy both them and what arrives in the next order.
PD
Hi Peter,
What arrived was exactly what I wanted its just that there wasn't enough of it! I was missing a pack of brook/stream sections which are now on their way.
It look s really good and I am looking forward to enjoying my first game on it - which is going to be a Cecil B De Mille spectacular and no mistake! I can almost feel the purple prose welling up in me as I write!
All the best,

Careful we are expecting Biblical proportions here - did you order the tiles for the parting of the Red Sea?
PD
Hi Peter,
Not exactly the Red Sea. Lets just say that an old favourite will be getting a rather modern twist!
All the best,

To Bluebear Jeff,
For some reason your comment has disappeared from the blogosphere!
I can only nod my head in sagacious agreement!
All the best,
DC
