For the second year running the winners are....
Some of the members of SEEMs - John, Chris, Dave and Graham (with a special mention for Andy as I had forgotten him the first time around!) - were in attendance at the last weekend's wargames show at Bovington - the home of the tank museum. I am delighted to post the fact that they won the Best of Show award for a truly stunning looking 28mm War of the Spanish Succession game played using a really good 'old school' style set of rules. The armies are mainly plastic figures from the Wargames Factory and as you can see from the link to the SEEMS blog there is rather a lot of them....;-)
More details can be seen here - SEEMS at Bovington
Very well done to the chaps for this effort with a special mention in despatches for Chris for the sheer amount of hard work involved in bringing the whole thing to fruition - made even more remarkable by the events of recent weeks.

Very nice game, I really liked the smoke rings!
Hi Fran,
This really has been a labour of love and looks quite incredible. the rules are really good fun to use as well - and they are free!
All the best,
DC
Congratulations there and a great looking game
Hi PanzerKaput,
The chaps certainly did very well indeed and the whole set up looked fantastic. My only claim to fame in the entire project was that I fought the first action with the rules before the set up you see was even considered!
All the best,
DC
